The popularity of ethical presents is indeed surging high.
On the one hand, we are observing recent worldwide campaigns for environmental protection / reversal of global warming.
On the other hand, historically there has been a strong drive for guaranteeing fair working conditions for people in less developed countries (commonly known as fair trade).
These two tendencies are now making a strong impression on consumers worldwide.
And the good news is .... this certainly helps boost the emerging market for ethical gifts.
As citizens of our beautiful planet we all can make a real difference by making small changes in our lifestyles.
Buying ethical presents is one aspect of leading a socially aware lifestyle.
For different people, "ethical" means different things.
It specifically means expressing compassion towards the environment and other people in different parts of the world, and especially children.
My two current top recommendations for ethical gifts are:
